The Ballston Business Improvement District’s annual Taste of Arlington the area’s most highly anticipated street fair of the season. Each spring, this neighborhood event showcases the best in local hospitality and entertainment to upwards of 40,000 attendees. For the 2016 edition, over 50 area restaurants and chefs will be serving up their dynamic delicacies to the hungry crowd. Although our Clarendon pizza parlor isn’t amongst them, many of our sister restaurants are including A-Town Bar & Grill, Don Tito and Barley Mac. (The street fair will also practically be on our door step, as it is located along Wilson Boulevard from N. Glebe Road to N. Quincy Street and from Wilson Boulevard along N. Stuart Street near the metro station.
This year’s family-friendly festival is set for Sunday, May 15th, 2016 from noon to 6pm and will happen rain or shine. According to the ToA website, the event is free to attend but specialty entertainment (for the kids) tickets available for purchase here. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), which supplies supplemental groceries to 2,200 Arlington families in need every week.
